Personally I have only known Amos as the only Attorney General in Kenya. In my lifetime to-date, I have cruised through three regimes. During the clamor for multiparty democracy Amos Wako was there and a strong proponent of one party system. I can remember very well the reformists included John Thenge, Martin Shikuku, Bahmariz, Njuhu Gatabaki, James Orengo, the late Masinde Muliro, the late Jaramogi Adonijah Oginga Odinga, Raila Odinga, Keneth Stanley Njindo Matiba, late George Anyona etc who were against the governance of that time…still the smiling Amos was the chief government adviser. President Moi then gave in to preasure not due to Amos Wako’s advise. Come to the wave for the new constitution we saw him not nearthe reform agenda. Demonstrators like me were being clobbered by gsu’s for agitating for reforms but Amos Wako was still the chief government advisor…Now who is this reformist is trying to say…himself? No way!
Telling Us that being pro reforms has made him stay in that position is a lie…the opposite is the plain truth about him. Figure this …Anglo leasing scandals architects are in Kenya, the aiders (abettors) are from out..but they are just conduits. The Goldenburg scandal is purely Kenyan..what has he done? and what is this thing called NOLLE PROSQUI??? Let him come clean and stick to the truth about himself….”Using his tact to be in conformist with the prevailing regimes..
